In January 2010, Lorain County, Ohio experienced governmental budget reductions which resulted in a drastic cut of transportation services in the county. Due to the expansive nature of the county, transportation services were limited prior to the aforementioned cuts. Based on the identified need, Pegasus Transit, LLC was established in May 2010. Pegasus Transit is committed to providing safe and affordable transportation to our communities, with a focus on service, quality, respect and accessibility to all. Pegasus Transit has wheelchair capability to provide services for those with ambulatory disabilities. Further, bilingual services for Spanish-speaking only clients are available. All drivers and staff who have client interaction are required to have a valid driver's license and be CPR/First aid certified
